Training Course 1
Fire Extinguisher User Training Course Content
This course is designed for employees who may have to use a Fire Extinguisher to extinguish a Small Fire. The training is more practically orientated with a much shorter theory session which focuses solely on Safe Fire Extinguisher Use.
Course content includes the following theory:

Fire Extinguisher Types, Capabilities and Limitations

How a Fire Extinguisher Works

Safe Use of Fire Extinguishers

Practical hands on experience of discharging a Water & CO2 fire extinguisher together with demonstration and practical training on the correct use of a Fire Blanket

A Certificate will be awarded on successful completion of course

Training Course 2
Fire Awareness Training Course Content
This course is designed for employees who have never received Fire Training or require an essential refresher. The training meets the requirements under the fire safety legislation (NI) 2010. The Legislation states that All Employees should have Fire Safety Training at Induction and periodically thereafter. This will prepare delegates should a fire break out.
Course content includes the following theory:

Employee responsibilities with regard to Fire Safety

The danger of fire and how it can spread

How to Prevent Fires and Safe Working Practices

Fire classification and the methods of extinguishing different types of fire

The correct Procedure to take in the Event of Fire

A discussion regarding local arrangements is normally promoted

This course includes a short multiple choice test

Practical hands on experience of Discharging a Water & CO2 fire extinguisher together with demonstration and practical training on the correct use of a Fire Blanket

A Certificate will be awarded on successful completion of course

Training Course 3
Fire Warden Training Course Content
This course is designed for employees who have taken on the role of Fire Warden or Fire Marshal. The training meets the requirements under the fire safety legislation (NI) 2010. All businesses are required to have designated staff, trained as fire wardens or marshals, who assist the appropriate / responsible person in the business in providing a working environment which is safe from fire. The appropriate / responsible person also has a duty to ensure the safety and full evacuation of the premises in the event of an emergency incident. Fire Wardens or Marshals may have a range of responsibilities, for example checking fire extinguishers are in place and unused or testing the fire alarm on a weekly basis, but their primary role will always be in assisting in the safe, full and controlled evacuation of the premises.
